Allow Me to Introduce Myself...

I am a 20-something professional that is just making my own way in the world. I am pursuing a career change from healthcare administration into financial planning and will occasionally post on industry-specific topics, but for the most part you will find me discussing personal discovery, career planning, and the struggles that most young professionals face in today’s world.

A common theme you will find in my conversations is my belief in the importance of self discovery. On that note, allow me to introduce myself to you as best I can.

- I am a Texan and proud of it. This does not stem from a honky-tonk, grab your guns, don’t touch my whiskey kind of pride, but a pride born of a state that stands firm in its values and heritage.
- I am an eternal student. I love to read just about anything I can get my hands on. If you ever wonder what I’m up to, you can safely bet that I have my head buried in a book. You can also bet that at any given time I am planning to increase my formal education in one way or another.
- God and family come first. I believe the two are intertwined in that my loyalty and belief in God is honored by devotion to my family’s well-being and prosperity.
- I have a crush on the Founding Fathers. They were truly some of the bravest and most brillant humans to ever walk the face of the Earth. Our country was founded through divine inspiration and should be upheld and defended in her principles.
- I am a “thinker.” If you know me personally, you know that I am a rather quiet person. In most cases, I would rather listen than talk, observe rather than participate. I love contemplating the underlying principles of life, human interaction, the divine, and personal meaning.

I am always open to discussion, so let me know if you have questions!
